Simon and Barklee, Inc. is a Washington corporation formed to fulfill the mission of its founders, Catherine and David Scherer, to bring globally-focused education and understanding to children across America and beyond. To this end we are presently engaged in professional development training for teachers, in-service training and curriculum integration programs with many schools and districts in the United States. Additionally we offer country-specific reading books, along with teaching strategies and lesson plans that meet both federal and state learning standards as a supplement to any classroom.
